Hey y'all!  Thank you so much for checking out our page.  We are super excited to be doing this venture together.  This all started when I (Carrie) wanted a few custom furniture and decor pieces for our home.  We see wood, furniture, and other materials being thrown away all the time.  Our thought was how can we use some of those items.  So began Grit and Nails, a husband and wife team on a mission to have good quality furniture and decor, using items that others may throw away, but bring out the beauty.  A piece of pallet wood, once planed down, can look new again.  Or keep it rustic for that shabby chic look.  We scour construction sites (with their permission of course!), behind stores for pallets, yard sales, old barns we can purchase and tear down, and so on.

We have expanded into new collections with new wood to bring a more finished piece into your home.  From repurposed to brand new we got you covered!  Featuring woods such as Ash, Ambrosia Maple (Wormy Wood), Walnut, Cherry, Oak, and many more.  Let us know what type of wood you prefer or we will help guide you.  Either way each piece is as unique as you are and we want every custom piece to be exactly what you want.  We look forward to helping you build your custom furniture dreams!
